Za umak od rajčice
Isperite zob, pa je kuhajte u dvostruko većoj količini malo osoljene vode oko 8–10 minuta. Ne mora biti potpuno mekana, jer će u paprici dalje omekšati. Ocijedite i ostavite da se malo ohladi.
Luk sitno nasjeckajte. U velikoj posudi pomiješajte:
Dobro sjedinite rukama kako biste dobili homogenu smjesu.
Operite paprike, odrežite im vrhove i očistite od sjemenki i jezgre. Žlicom punite paprike, ali ne prečvrsto jer će zob još nabubriti tijekom kuhanja.
U velikom loncu zagrijte malo ulja, ulijte pasiranu rajčicu i vodu. Dodajte sol i šećer te promiješajte.
Pažljivo stavite punjene paprike u umak. Kuhajte na srednjoj vatri poklopljeno oko 40–45 minuta.
